Greetings,

Subject: Purusha is the Devil

> The biggest contributing factor to this was the range attack ability
> of Purusha.

Just another reason I love Barricades. Does nobody else use them?

When attacking, things are trickier, I'll admit. But Purusha suffers
from one of the curses of all Ranged Attacks: personalities are often
insulated by followers (usually a never-ending supply of Farmlands
tokens), and sometimes everything in the opposing army is just too big
to shoot.

Subject: [Dave] Ambush Question

> Are units considered assigning for ambush?

   Yes.

> If so am I prevented from ambushing a lower chi personality with Oni
> no Okura?

   No. See Accumulated Rulings, Ambush.

   Sure. Why not?

Subject: [Dave] Before Defenders First....

> You may take one action before the defenders first battle action.
> This is a ability on several cards, now my question is if there are

> the order of which cards react when?

   See FAQ 3.10.

Subject: Orion III photos

> PS You NEED to see Steve Murai's photo. NEED to. Care to guess who he

Wasn't he, like, one of the really lame Superman villains in the late
70s? ;)

Subject: targetted unit = targetted pers ?

> in a battle i bow all but one of the other's player personalities but
> all of my units are bowed. I play mountain of the phoenix what happen?
> can i target one of my unit (they are bowed)

No. See Zen's Card of the Week #160.

> does my oponent has the choice or must he choose the unbowed one ?

Has to pick the unbowed one.

> if i play in a battle awakening s.d. all the remainning unit are
> dishonnored and -2 chi, if the remainning units, at resolution, kill
> one of my unit that stay with them does they get all rehonored or
> just one ?

   I'm not following your question.

> same situation btu before resolution ; can i choose to leave the
> battle if my unit is bowed ?

   No.

> at the end i think the question is targetting a unit and targetting a
> personalitie is it the same ?

Yes. Units do not, as a general rule, exist without personalities.

Subject: RTV questions

> Will [Amnesia] temporarily suspend game length effects[?]

   Yes.

> Can it be used on a sensei that has been switched and is now in the
> discard pile?

No. As a general rule, you can only target things in play.

> What if the sensei has been discarded from play? (Example of 2, with
> someone casting Jurojin's touch on the discarded sensei. Will that
> stop the effect?

What effect? Of the original sensei, yes. Of Amnesia -- well, you
couldn't cast Jurojin's Touch on a discarded sensei while Amnesia was in
force.

> Can it be targetted afterwards with Amnesia?)

   No.
