Greetings,

Incidentally, folks, flagging posts with (Zen) in the title is not
really helpful for me. I get the daily digest, so I read all the posts
anyway. And the subject headers don't exactly leap out at me...

From: Dark Prophet <oshio_the_dark@HOTMAIL.COM>
Subject: Mantis Standard (Zen)

> Can the Mantis standard be used by and effect Yoritomo's Alliance,
> non-Mantis people?

   Yes.

> Can you Ninja Tricks a reaction, such as Confusion at Court or Way of
> Shadow?

   Yes.

> If Asako Hosigero's ability is used and one of the ranged attacks is
> Way of Shadow'd, does it negate all of the other ranged attacks as
> well?

Yes. Or Flee the Darkness. Or Turtle's Shell. And all three of those
suck just as much for the Shrine of Osano-Wo. :(

From: Jubal Kerchner-Pirrone <komodo@GLOBAL2000.NET>
Subject: Mon search

> I'm looking for pictures of each clan's mon that I could blow up and
> use on some character sheets I'm making.

   They were on Alderac's website.

From: Brad Greenberg <rcephi@JPS.NET>
Subject: Lessons from <<WHO??>>

> I need a little help with Lessons from Kuro, and just how abusive I

You can use the action once per copy of Lessons from Kuro.

Yeah. What he said. (No, I'm not even going to *try* to explain the
process that mangled that sentence.) :(

From: =?iso-8859-1?Q?Antonio_Rodr=EDguez?= <guita@INTERLINK.ES>
Subject: Ashamana and Ratlings

> IF one of my ratlings die, can Ashamana brig it back to play?

No. Not unless you have Ak'tok'tuk Sensei in play; then yes.

From: =?iso-8859-1?Q?Antonio_Rodr=EDguez?= <guita@INTERLINK.ES>
Subject: Come one at time and Storms of war

No. A bowed personality may not use abilities (rules), which is what
the challenge from Come One At A Time is (card text).

*Everything* concerning L5R is copyrighted and owned by Wizards of
the Coast (including everything you and I type on this list). General
rule of thumb: unless there's a notice that says "this may be used
freely" or "is in the public domain," it belongs to somebody else, and
you should ask before using it.
