Rules and rulings are suppsosed to be general; thus, they follow and
set precedents. Cards are specific, and seldom set precedents.

As I said several times before, Jeff's ruling is under debate in the
Rules Junta.

I have *always* said that if I post something that directly
contradicts what Jeff (or Dave) has said, ignore it.

Because they're not Political. At least not by rulebook definition.

Yes.

Yes. Not at issue. Never has been.

Under discussion by the Rules Junta.

Under discussion by the Rules Junta.

No. Forgotten lesson says, "Target a Sensei card." Can't do it during
Rise from the Ashes. Doesn't get any plainer than that.

No.

Right.

EXACTLY! The problem is that -- according to the rules -- the effects
of Come One At A Time (and some other terrains) continue *even if* the
terrain is destroyed.
So you're actually saying I'm right, I think.

Jeff Alexander has already ruled that Come One At A Time's effects
only last while the terrain is in play (which is what I've been saying
almost all along, dadblast it!)

> If someone has Hiruma Sensei and I'm attacking with a guy who has

Accumulated Rulings on 12th Black Scroll: "Ends the battle without
resolution. [netnews, 9/20/99]" So, no, it won't work against a defender
when Hiruma Sensei's in play.

As of Jeff Alexander's recent ruling restricting the definition of
Political somewhat, none that I know of.

Subject: Toritaka Kitao/Iaijitsu Challenge?

The Iaijutsu Challenge is cancelled. Any effects that happened before
he refused remain. Anything that would normally occur after he refused
do not happen.

Subject: Re: The new starter packaging

Currently, one of each for my archive set. I buy a second if there's
a fixed card in the starter that I want to play with. I may buy
additional copies for sealed deck tournaments.
