No. That wouldn't *change* an honor loss -- it would prevent the loss
from occurring. Any better examples?

Megada has specific card text that breaks the general rules. I don't
see that it sets any general precedent.

Right.

I take the point. For what it's worth, I'm not totally comfortable
with the Kitsu Tombs ruling. But nobody (including me) has come up with
any convincing argument why it is not Political by rulebook definition.
I'd welcome such arguments. Note, though, that I'd prefer to keep
discussion focussed on *JUST* that example, rather than playing "But
what about this?"
I've got private e-mail from Dave Williams about this already, so the
Rules Junta is alerted to the matter. We'll see how it goes.

For what it's worth, I think Jeff Alexander made that ruling on the
newsgroup, which I then repeated here. It's possible that I'm
remembering wrong. So, if anyone wants to dig through the
rec.games.trading-cards.misc archives and confirm that, one way or
another, be my guest.

That's not *changing* an honor loss or gain. The loss/gain is
prevented outright.

I am not following your logic here. And I should add, just to be
perfectly clea, there is no ruling stating that. The ruling currently
concerns the Kitsu Tombs only (and I'd like to keep the discussion that
way).

There is no ruling making Confusion at Court a Political action.
Shadowlands players may to use it freely.

You are correct; I was wrong. I had forgotten that clause, and
thought it was just a question about how strongholds worked when bowed
(which is misunderstood often enough). To sum up, while Oni no Kamu is
out:
* The Spawning Grounds' bonus remains.
* Sepulchre of Bone may not play token followers from the stronghold.
