Greetings,
A reminder: I do *NOT* answer rules questions by private e-mail.

You can't. Nothing in the game goes below zero, except honor and
honor requirements. Everything else rounds to zero.

That's not a question. But yes.

Read Dispersive Terrain. It specifies a duration.
The rules question at stake is limited to a *very* small number of
cards: terrains that take effect immediately, but don't say their
effects "while in play" or otherwise specify a duration.

Mileage varies, as does local play. I can't remember the last time
I've seen Wedge *played*, much less win a game. In contrast, the
comparably in demand (and priced) Shinsei's Shrine -- I see repeatedly,
and in winning decks repeatedly. *shrug*

No.
*CAVEAT*: Since the terrain rules have been flagged by discussion for
the Rule Junta, this ruling is based on how I think the cards *should*
work. That is:
* Terrains only affect the battle they are played in (F&S rules, pg
50).
* Terrains that take effect immediately have their effects last while
the terrain is in play, unless a different duration is stated on the
card.

Under debate in the Rules Junta. Stay tuned.

Please read the Fire & Shadow rules on Ancestors. The answer's there.
Unwritten Rule #4: It's not enough to read the cards. You have to
read the rulebook, too.
