   Whoops. Misread the question. The answer is yes, it can.

   I read the spoiler and was speaking casually. The "replace" is there
because the normal state of affairs for provinces is to have cards in
them.

   Yes, yes, no. Crushing attack merely advances the resolution phase,
doesn't prevent actions.

   Crab. The Sensei doesn't make "ratling" a clan, it just makes them
part of yours (in a non-specific sort of way).
