   Um... Jeff Alexander is not on this list, as far as I know. Flagging
posts to him are not helpful. I get the digests and check all the
messages for rules questions anyway, so I don't need posts flagged for
me.

   No.

   There's a little Latin phrase that explains why: _reductio ad
absurdum_, which means "reduced to absurdity." Follow the logic through,
and if the conclusion is absurd, then premises are false. If multiples
"stacked," it could reduce a stronghold's gold production to zero, thus
making iimpossible for an opponent to ever get in the game.

   That would be goofy. Absurd, in fact.

   _Ergo_ (more Latin: "Therefore"), multiple Nio Sensei don't stack.

   *shrug* Several sensei have global effects for all players. Some
sensei are as devastating to a deck as if they did modify the
stronghold.
