  See your map? See Kyuden Kakita and Kyuden Matsu? The Osari plains are the  
area between these two great castles, spreading north toward Shiro no Yojin, 
and stopping just short of the Heigen no Otaku plains. The Osari plains 
travel along the Way of the Faint Echo of Glory (the road fromKosaten Shiro 
to Kyuden Kakita.

  These plains (rightly called the Yogosu Namida Heigen) are located just 
below Falcon lands, north of the Plains above Evil, just at the western edge 
of the Twilight Mountains. The river that plows near Carpenter wall 
originates near this plain, and the waters there make the water salty and 
undrinkable. Some say the river is the trail of tears shed by Lady Sun when 
she saw what had happened to her ninth child (the Dark One).

  Toma-san., you haven't been studying, have you? The Silk Road is an 
abbrieviation of the Fragrant Silk Road, which is labeled as number 22 on 
your map, and mentioned again on page 233. It runs from Kyuden Doji to Otosan 
Uchi's golden gates.
