My Dear Honorable Doshi,

Ohayo-gozaimashita!

>Of note are two new RPGs that are about to hit the scene Sengoku and Swords
of the Middle >Kingdom. I have looked at the intial parts of Sengoku from
thier web site, and it looks like a >good set of reference material for the
game. Swords is Chinese based and may be of use for >both 7th Sea and Rokugan.

This might be out of character, but please allow me to put in my two koku
about how cool Swords Of The Middle Kingdom by Event Horizon Productions is.
As much as L5R is near & dear to my heart, there are times when I want
serious Jackie Chan/Jet Li style a** kickin'... and SOMK, and their other
game, Hong Kong Action Theater, come through for me in spades!
Also, in the same fashion that Rokugan is similar to Japan, their world
of Wu Lin is the coolest fantasy China I ahev ever had the pleasure of
reading.
I highly recommend SOMK as stand alone game or even for useful ideas to
add to your L5R campaign.

BTW, just so you don't think I'm snubbing Sengoku by not mentioning it
above, please understand that while I do own a copy, I have not had the
opportunity to read it yet.

    That's my two koku!

Sayonara,

Otaku Masero
Unicorn Clan Stable Master
