Back from vacation and ready to defend the wall in our internal open format
strategic league.

Reading the list today, I was really surprised to find the number of "L5R is
all about cheating to win" posts. Obviously, those people weren't at
Origins. I'm sure there are a few bad eggs out there, but I have to say that
the L5R players are by FAR the most curtious TCG players out there. Heck,
when Ed was doing his shouting thing one of the ways he got all the players
pumped up was by shouting the following (or something very close)...
"... in SOME games people have to REGISTER their decks because in THOSE
games players don't TRUST each other, we have HONOR because we play what
game?" followed by maniacle cheers of L5R! L5R!

Rest assured, we're going to do our best to keep unsportsmanship down to a
minimum - but a few bad seeds will certainly come in. I hope that the play
groups out there kick them out before they corrupt the core of a very
friendly game and a wonderful group of players.

One of the reasons we never offer large cash prizes is because we don't want
to attract those players.
