Saw a couple of things I could answer...

The new Herald has NOT been released, but I know it is being worked on at a
quick clip (just finished my part yesterday).

Although your are seeing the two upcoming promos on the lion refuge site
currently NEITHER has been released. This is a bad leak. I don't know how
the author got the cards. When we print promos, we print 4 or 5 at a time
(hence the old borders), and then release them over time. Somehow, this
person got cards well before they were released. While I have no hard
feelings towards the person who got the cards, I am rather miffed about the
person who gave him the cards - obviously an employee of AEG or WotC, as
those were the only two places that the cards were. Sometimes cards go out
ahead of time to trusted media/type folk who are expected to keep a lid on
it until the release date, but I don't think that was the case here.

What bothers me most is that you are actually seeing the promos from the
next TWO heralds, so there will be little surprise when your heralds come,
for this I apologize as the surprise has been totally ruined. I will tighten
security on upcoming sets to lower the odds of this happening again.

One other thing...

> Do you really think $2000 is going to cover the costs of
* the L5R GenCon tournament?

This is funny in a "if-you-only-knew" kinda way. The author was correct, we
loose tens of thousands of dollars running the GenCon tourney - printing up
shirts, getting armor made, taking out print ads, flying in/houseing/feeding
all the people, etc... GenCon, while it does provide a good marketing
opportunity, is really about us getting the chance to show you all exactly
how L5R is it's own different, vibrant, exciting thing - not just another
bland CCG. Hopefully you all leave there knowing that we do care about our
consumers and about our product.

Later folks!
