the first time. :/

It still affects them. (Kharmic Strike even says "play"
on it.) They're nothing more than 0-focus cards.

>2: Can you destroy moto gaheris, or does he have to be removed from teh
>abttle ala block supply lines, the favour etc?

Destroying a card during battle does not count as removing it
from the battle.

>3: If you test of might a bowed personality, does their force count as
>zero?

No. The Force of the whole unit is 0 but the Force of the
Personality alone doesn't change.

No. (This isn't Magic.) The active player picks.

You can (and probably will) choose to have the Portents wear
off before Soro's check happens.

No. (Kharmic Strike has never been played face up, by the
way. It's never been a Reaction.)

     Cancelled. That's all I know.

>Spirit Legion: "Action cards and ranged attacks cannot target the Spirit
>Legion."
>Are Kihos consider Action Cards for this purpose?

Kiho cards are Action cards for all purposes. "Kiho" is a
trait, like "Terrain" and "Fortification", not a pure card type.

>Shinsei's Riddle: "Unique Kiho Limited: One of your Monks or Shugenja bows
>to permanently gain +1F/+1C. Discard this card."
>What does the last sentence (Discard this card) mean in terms of game play?

Ordinarily it means nothing, since kiho are discarded immediately
after being cast anyway. It makes a difference if it's attached during
Blessinds of Isawa -- the caster will discard himself from play the first
time he casts it innately, as that text is now on him.

It's a change in the rules, the reason being that your opponent
needs to know when you're taking an action as opposed to merely focussing.

Sure they are. Look at Matsu Turi. :)

>But is it possible to see him changed through errata? It'd make sense story
>wise, and I don't see it making the card any more powerful.

I don't foresee him being changed. Sukune is hardly the first card
to be rendered somewhat inaccurate due to new developments but none of
them have been changed either.

     I would agree with that.

>Though it didn't come up, do followers "join you"? Thus when I am putting
>an "emerald magistrate" follower into play does he cost one less?

Followers and Personalities "join". Nothing else does.
(This is one for the archives.)

>Also do the following cards count as "magistrate" card types by foo rule?
>Duty of the Magistrate
>Magistrate's Blade
>Writ of the Magistrate
>(I know they can't bought cheaper with O. Palaces, but wanted to know if
>they are technically "magistrate" cards)

They are all magistrate cards, yes.

>And one last question:
>(region) - farmlands is this considered a farm card? or does the title being
>all one word keep ot from being a farm?

The title being all one word keeps it from being a farm.
