Subject: Yoritomo Sensei vs. Sacred Temples of the Phoenix
I sent this question out unanswered. The Junta is actually
still working on it. I expect the turnaround on this one to be
slow, unfortunately, due to the holiday weekend here in the States.

Subject: Soul of the Empire cards
Following Andy's lead, I'm going to hold off any answers
directly concerning Soul of the Empire cards until they've
actually been seen by real people.

So am I. So are a lot of people. However, the fact will always
be with us that there is only ONE way to avoid the problem entirely:
allow every game to go to completion. Not only is this also not fair,
it's entirely non-feasible. How many finalists can regularly stick
around until 2:00 A.M.? What about the judges? The facility's staff?
There will always be a tiebreaker system and a need for one.
Saying we should just get rid of it is, sadly, not an option.

>1. Is "Sent home" and "Removed from battle" two different things?
No. "Sent home" means moved from a battle to its controller's
fief. "Removed from battle" also includes being sent to another
battle.
>2. Does a Range 3 attack against a lone Toku (no bonuses on him)
>considered "Removing him from battle"?
No. Leaving play, because a card was destroyed or for any other
reason, does not count as being removed from battle.
>3. Can "A Test of Courage" save Toku from this ranged attack?
No.
>4. If Oni no Okura is targeted with an "Oracle of Thunder", can it be
>cancel by using Kage Sensei? (provided Okura has a Sleeper token and I
>have a Kolat to bow to cancel it).
No. Okura is not taking the action.
>5. I attach Monk Advisors to my opponents Doji Reju, can my opponent
>immediately destroy the advisors?
As his next Open action, yes.

I think the entire set of token follower cost rulings needs
to be reviewed by the Junta at this point. Stay tuned for
further developments.

It's an alternate cost. 5 for Crane, 7 for everybody else.

...and Reaction. Four. It's in the rulebook.

Yes. The Stronghold gives the ability to the Personalities.
