It's not a cost reduction. It will combine with the Stronghold
discount.

     That is correct.

Cancelling the whole action, not just the honor, *is* different.
Seppun Sensei won't stop it.

>PS can we get an *exact* definition of "changed" in regards to Seppun
>sensei?

If you're trying to make any aspect of it different from what would
happen if it were allowed to go off with no voluntary interference,
you're changing it. Changing the amount, nature (loss->gain or vice
versa), or recipient are all changes. So is cancelling or negating the
loss/gain by itself (as opposed the entire action).

>Wouldn't "modified" or "altered" be a better wording?

Seeing as none of them are defined, I don't see how. I can see
the Glossary now:

        alter: see "change"

        change: see "modify"

        modify: see "alter"

Yes. That's the only time you gain honor for paying full price.
Incidentally, since waiving the gain is part of the cost, you are
inherently prohibited from playing more than one per Personality.

>If, as a Dragon Player, I bring Tagashi Mitsu in at full cost, and play

By card text, it would be all three.

With Celestial Gift and Shooting Star Strike, you still draw and
discard from your deck. (You use the spell/kiho's focus value instead
of the discard's, not instead of discardING.) The Ancient Sage can
still be used, but will still modify the discard's focus, making the
Sage well-nigh useless.
