No. Not for any other purpose, either. The Foo Rule
does not span languages.

>1) When using one of these sensei, do they gain your race trait (i.e people
>playing naga using kage have their kolats gain the naga trait)?

"Naga" is a clan affiliation [rulebook], so it would be gained.

NOTE: a card must have the PRINTED Naga trait to be Nonhuman
[Glossary & FAQe]. A human which gains the Naga trait during play
will still be human.

>2)If I use these senseis with the Shinomen stronghold, will I be able to
>have
>four each guy in my deck.

No. Your deck has to be legal from the very start, before
you do any beginning-of-game effects.

You are absolutely correct. Way of Shadow doesn't target
any Personalities, so Makashi's trait doesn't apply.

You were right. A Personality is unaligned if she has the
"Unaligned" trait. It's that simple.

At'tok'tuk and Kage Sensei effects are continuous. If a
Personality leaves your control/deck/discard pile, these sensei
no longer apply to it. Likewise if you gain control of one, or
if someone gains or loses the Kolat or Ratling traits.

> Especially since it's

The Naga trait cannot be removed BY SWEARING FEALTY. These
sensei don't count as swearing fealty. Scroll back a bit for the
rule on how Naga and Nonhuman interact, too.

>Does Pure Stroke double the effects of tokens on a bloodsword?

Not only does it not double the tokens, but since the tokens
provide the Bloodsword with "a bonus to its printed Force or
Chi", A Pure Stroke won't double the Bloodsword's own stats
either.

Neither. It's just one of those wacky things that crops up
from time to time.

I spoke with Dave about this just two days ago. It is,
in fact, changing. A Personality's Minimum Honor must be met
both before AND after his payment is produced. If it's not
met to begin with, you cannot even start to pay for him.

     The first one.

I've forwarded this one on to Dave. It's clearly
not as simple as I thought.
