Try the Golden Obi of the Sun Goddess. You'll need to raise
his Personal Honor above two first.
Two other cards that prevent death but won't ever be legal
are the Ancestral Armor of the Phoenix (can only attach to a
Phoenix Clan Samurai) and Utter Defeat (only works on death due
to battle or duel resolutions).

>If Imperial Palace guard is moved onto a unit already assigned

"Immune to fear. If this unit is assigned to an
attacking army, the Palace Guard is destroyed."
It's only "assigning" if it happens during the Infantry or
Cavalry Maneuvers segments. Moving is not assigning. They'll
be safe.

>Subject: Hiruma Sensei vs. Trenches
Short answer: Trenches takes priority.
Hiruma Sensei does not override an action's own inherent limits
on when it is and is not usable (even when they're worded to *look*
like restrictions). I saw the point brought up that it doesn't let
you play Limited actions during battle, for example -- that's a very
good way of looking at it.
Hiruma Sensei also does not override targetting restrictions. It
won't let you, say, target a normal ranged attack at a Personality who
has Followers or is carrying Kaagi's Journal.

No. This one was addressed in the latest Herald. If your
hand is not empty after playing it, neither effect happens.

I'd say it's legal. You use the Oracle as a Battle Action
to play a terrain. If that terrain is also a kiho, the Castle's
reaction is legal.

Actually, it doesn't target anything at all. Which yields
the same answer: Way of Shadow can't cancel it.

Only the cost in the center of the card. Shady Dealings
can't help here.

No.

Yes...provided you can find a way to straighten T'chik'chuk
after you've used him, since Personalities cannot attach cards
while they're bowed.

o Designer's intent / alternate readings. There's no reason
to even make the attachment if it's completely separate from
granting the ability.
o It allows us to preserve hard, single-use limitations on
truly powerful kiho like Hate's Heart.

It also means playing a card. Inheritance can pay for things
like Kolat Master.

Just her opponent. Who said ninja were fair?

Yes. "Returning to play" doesn't undo his death, and one
single death is enough to end Shoju Sensei's effect.

There is no limit on how many times it can be used per
turn or per battle.
