>1. Under the One-time events rule, what I understand from the way it was

>"...if ANOTHER copy of the SAME Event turns face up in another player's

>because it resolves, it gets delayed by Yokuni Sensei and does not get

No. Not even without the optional "one-time" rule.

>Subject: Apprentice Chi Question
>
>I'm just wondering if the Apprentice follower abilities also works with
>Kihos?
Yes. From the FAQ:
] With the release of Hidden Emperor Scroll 4, there is no longer a
] distinction between a "spell" and a "spell effect" (p. 25). Anything
] that pertains to the results or the casting of spells -- redirection,
] untargetability, Chi bonuses and what have you -- affects kiho as well.
] The answers to these two questions are now "yes" and "yes".
]
] However, there is still a distinction between spell and kiho cards. Kiho are
] Action Cards only. Anything that lets you search for a spell in your deck,
] or attach a spell, or retrieve a spell from your discard pile, still only
] refers to spell cards and can not be used on kiho cards.

>What counts as a force bonus for the use of In Search of the Future?
>
>Obviously something that give +X force, but what about cards like Falling
>Star Strike and Uncertainty. Although they are the opposite of a bonus in
>their effect, L5R may not distinguish between a bonus that has a negative or
>positive effect and any effect that adjusts the force may be considered a
>"bonus". So will ISotF remove this "negative" force bonus from cards like
>Falling Star Strike and Uncertainty?
Only positive increases are bonuses.
>Also, will In Search of the Future do anything to the force bonus given by
>an Ancestral Standard (or Battle Standard) to a follower attached to a
>different Personality than the one the standard is attached to? The standard
>*is* still an attached card, just not attached to a card in the unit the
>follower(s) may be attached to.
No. The attachment has to be direct. Followers will never
get bonuses from any cards other than their own Personality.

You're complaining that you're getting 20 pages of L5R and 20
pages of LBS instead of 20 pages of L5R. That's silly.

Unicorn has a surprising number of shugenja, including pretty
much all the cavalry shugenja in the game who aren't Elemental Dragons.

>>Unclean Cut appears to be a political action by definition, and
>>therefore not useable by Junzo players.
It is political. "...all honor gains for the winner of this duel
are cancelled" -- you can't get much clearer than that.
>Was there ever a reply to this question? I'm curious about the answer
>myself. When an action is cancelled, it is considered to have never

>it to zero?
Yes.
> If it is cancelled, is it considered "changed" or is
>it considered "never happened"?
Changed.
