     I want to apologize for being so, well, so utterly not-present
this past week.  I'm in the middle of a personal vacation week and
I *thought* I'd have the spare time to handle the list in the evenings,
but this just hasn't happened.

     I will continue to answer questions sent directly to my
email address, but I simply do not have time to monitor the list
right now and don't expect to until the middle of next week.
