LIST RULES When posting to this list, please keep the following in mind.
Violating the rules set forth below can result in your account being
placed on REVIEW status or your being removed from the list, depending on
the severity of the infraction.
1.) Keep posts related to the topic of the list. While it's fine to point
out interesting websites related to science fiction, discussing topics
unrelated to L5R should be avoided.
2.) Do not instigate a flame war. Making posts that are derogatory are
sure to generate a response. Making posts that attack an individual
(instead of debate an idea) are not allowed. Derogatory posts and attacks
on an individual are not allowed under any circumstances. If you feel the
need to respond, do so via private e-mail.
3.) Do not use profanity in your posts.
4.) When responding to a post, make sure to quote only what is required.
Please don't quote an entire three-page post when you're only responding
to one paragraph.
5.) Don't make "me too" posts. If you don't have anything to add to the
discussion, please don't clutter the list with messages that don't add
anything.
6.) Do not send file attachments to the mailing list. If you want to
share a graphic, post the image to a website and direct everyone there.
If you don't have access to a website, you can ask others to e-mail you
directly and send the file out like that.
Remember that everyone on the list comes from a different background. We
have engineers, lawyers, college students, and high school-age members
who post on a variety of topics. Please respect that their opinion might
be different from yours and move on.
