Those who have experienced my style of moderating may speak up.

What I try to do as moderator is keep the discussion going, and the venom /
anger out.
Generally I easily accomplish this with private emails. Most of you therefor
never see me moderating (which is exactly how I want it). This is a
community. As such we have to have certain policies that we all agree to
adhere by. Should you step outside that policy, I will let you know,
privately. Should you apologize and agree to adhere _and do so_, then my job
is done. 98% of everyone falls into this catagory. You'll know that
"official" moderation is forthcoming either by a public notification (rare)
or private ultimatum.

I fully agree with Brent. "Once you start down the dark path, forever will
it dominate your future."

My moderator status is the least of my duties here. I'm very proud of how
most people handle themselves as compared to 6-12 months ago. At best what I
hope I've accomplished is to set the policies and ettiquette for you to
follow and trust your honor and respect to do so. Thank you, all.

I am not the police here. I'm the fanclub coordinator. I'm the head fan. I'm
your spokesman in many cases to Brand and vice versa, etc... In essence I
try to be a facilitator and not a moderator.

Treat each other with respect.
Understand that no one is always right.
Have the courage to admit when you're wrong.
Not every post needs be an arguement.
Discuss the issues not the people.

Andy
