Let me say that I am a Highlander player as well (although only a
casual player with one tourney under my belt, I'm fairly familiar
with the swordmaster scene)

Yeah, I'm familiar. I tried to design the cards so that they would
all very VERY cool, and fun to play, but that none of them would be
"killers" or absolutely necessary for a playable deck.

All clans are represented in Heroes.

There's another one you missed. The Duncan and Methos collections
were notorious for having ONE LESS card than was necessary for a play
set (e.g. if there was a 3 card limit for the card in your deck, then
the collection had 2 of them) - making it necessary for you to buy 2
copies of the collection to have a full play set. Heroes was set up
that so that you only need one copy of each card for a full play set.
